We work closely with our partners MS Lucas Racing and MS Karts to provide a range of options to suit different ages, ambitions and budgets.

Our first step is always to discuss your goals, experience and budget so that we can recommend the most suitable route into karting.

Academy Race Package

Our most popular option for drivers moving into race karting.

This package allows drivers to race in a professionally prepared kart without the large upfront costs of purchasing equipment.

You will be allocated a kart for the season, which is used exclusively by you. The package is designed to provide a simple, predictable way to get started in owner-driver karting.

Typical package includes:

• Professionally prepared race kart
• Race entry support for Teesside Sprint Championship rounds
• Kart storage and transport
• Engine servicing and maintenance
• Technical support at race meetings
• Driver coaching and guidance
• Pre-season setup and preparation
• Five test days included

The only additional costs are typically:

• Accident damage
• Additional testing days
• Consumables outside the package agreement

At the end of the season, the kart remains the property of the Academy.

This option is ideal for drivers and parents who want to focus on learning and racing while leaving the technical side to our experienced team.

Owner Kart Support Package

For drivers who wish to own their own kart but still benefit from professional support.

We can store, prepare and run your kart at race meetings, giving you the advantages of a race team while maintaining ownership of your equipment.

Support packages can include:

• Kart storage
• Race meeting preparation
• Technical support
• Driver coaching
• Setup advice
• Transport assistance
• Trackside support

Additional costs would normally include:

• Fuel
• Tyres
• Testing fees
• Accident damage
• Engine servicing and rebuilds
• Replacement parts and consumables

Your kart remains your property and can be used at any circuit or championship you choose.

Buy Your Own Kart

If you would like to purchase your own kart, we can help guide you through the process.

Whether you are looking for a brand-new kart or a quality second-hand package, we can advise on the best options based on your age, class and budget.

Our team can assist with:

• Purchasing new or used karts
• Pre-purchase inspections
• Driver fitting and setup
• Initial coaching and support
• Safety equipment advice
• Race preparation guidance

Drivers purchasing their own kart are welcome to operate from the Academy awning with support from our team, or independently if preferred.
