May 2026, So Far.

As I sit writing this, we’re already around halfway through May — and honestly, 2026 has already been absolutely flat out here at Teesside Motorsports.

So far this year we’ve successfully launched all three of our major championships for the season:

  • The NRG Owner Driver Sprint Championship
  • The 24 Hour Championship
  • NBS Endurance Racing for bikes

All three championships have already delivered incredible racing, growing grids and some fantastic new faces joining the paddock across karting and bikes.

Alongside our own championships and events, the circuit has also welcomed a huge range of visiting organisers and championships over the opening months of the year. We’ve already hosted rounds and events for:

  • British Mini Bikes Championship
  • NoraSport
  • Car Chase Heroes
  • PSR

Alongside this we’ve continued running our own drifting events, track activities and everyday arrive-and-drive karting sessions which keep the circuit busy throughout the week.

The action really never stops at Teesside Karting — and we certainly aren’t slowing down any time soon.

This month also sees the return of our hugely popular Half Term Karting offers for the May school holidays. Kids can once again take advantage of our special holiday offer:

Pay for 15 minutes and drive for 30 minutes — all for just £20.

We’ll also be welcoming new supercar experience provider Everyman Racing to the circuit for the first time this year, bringing an exciting new addition to the Teesside Motorsports calendar with a range of supercar and driving experience events.

And as we head into June, preparations are already underway for one of the biggest events of the year outside of our championship calendar — the annual Club100 / BUKC Student 24 Hour race.

Taking place over the second weekend of June, the event will once again see around 50 university teams from across the UK descend on Teesside for one of the biggest student endurance kart races anywhere in Europe. The atmosphere during this weekend is always incredible and it remains one of the highlights of the entire year at the circuit.

Then, only a month later, attention turns back to the 24 Hour Championship as we prepare to head out to Le Mans Karting International for Round 2 of the championship.

The Le Mans event has already reached a completely full grid, with 46 teams preparing to take part in what promises to be one of the biggest endurance kart races of the summer.

With drifting, sprint racing, endurance racing, bike events, public karting, track days and major national championships all happening alongside each other, 2026 is already shaping up to be one of the busiest years we’ve ever had.

And we’re only just getting started.
