Winter Racing, 2027 Calendars and a Huge Season Ahead

We aren't slowing down for the Winter.

The summer season might be behind us, but things certainly aren’t slowing down at Teesside Motorsports.

With the final events of 2026 still to come, a full programme of winter racing ahead and the first major 2027 calendars now being released, there is plenty for drivers, riders and teams to start planning.

From sprint racing and six-hour winter endurance events at Teesside to the NBS Endurance Championship and four international 24-hour races across Europe, the next twelve months are already looking incredibly busy.

Finishing 2026 in Style

October brings a packed end to the main 2026 season.

The NBS Endurance Championship returns to Teesside on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th October, including the free 125cc endurance test day on Friday followed by six hours of racing on Saturday.

Then it’s back to four wheels for the final rounds of the NRG Teesside Owner Sprint Championship, with the season concluding with our October double-header on 24th–25th October.

For those wanting something completely different, Friday 30th October sees the return of our Drift Workshop Day, in partnership with PH Drift. It’s a full day dedicated to developing skills, getting expert advice and spending plenty of time on circuit.

Our Car Track Days also move into their winter daytime format, with dates including:

Friday 6th November 2026
Friday 11th December 2026

And that still isn’t the end of our karting calendar.

Winter Endurance Racing at Teesside

This winter sees the launch of our NRG Winter Enduro Series, bringing six-hour endurance racing to Teesside throughout the colder months.

Open to both Hire and Owner Pro Kart teams, the series gives teams the chance to keep racing throughout winter rather than packing everything away until spring.

The dates are:

22nd November 2026
13th December 2026
17th January 2027
7th March 2027

Endurance racing brings a completely different challenge to sprint racing.

It isn’t simply about producing the fastest lap. Strategy, consistency, traffic management, pit stops, driver changes and teamwork can all make the difference between winning and losing.

For established endurance teams, it’s another championship to fight for.

For drivers looking to take their first step into team endurance racing, it could also be the perfect place to start.

The 2027 NRG Teesside Owner Sprint Championship

Planning for the new season is already underway and the 2027 NRG Teesside Owner Sprint calendar is going live.

The Championship will once again welcome classes from Bambino through to Senior, bringing owner drivers together at Teesside throughout the season for competitive sprint racing on one of the UK’s fastest kart circuits.

The Owner Sprint has become an important part of our race calendar, offering drivers the opportunity to compete regularly at the same venue while developing their racecraft, kart setup and consistency throughout the season.

Full 2027 Championship dates, regulations and entry information will be available online, allowing teams and drivers to start building their race calendars now.

NBS Endurance Racing – 2027 Calendar

The NBS Endurance Championship, powered by M-Tech, is also heading into 2027 with another season taking teams around some fantastic UK circuits.

The provisional 2027 calendar is:

Round 1 – Llandow
10th–11th April

Round 2 – Three Sisters
14th–15th May

Round 3 – Teesside
18th–19th June

Round 4 – Teesside 24 Hour
12th–14th August

Rounds 5 & 6 – Rowrah Double Header
17th–19th September

Round 7 – Whilton Mill
16th–17th October

The series continues to offer proper long-distance motorcycle endurance racing, with a championship that rewards far more than outright speed.

Reliability, preparation, rider consistency, pit work and teamwork all become part of the result.

Four Countries. Four 24-Hour Races.

And then there’s the big one.

The 2027 Hire Kart 24-Hour Championship will take teams across four countries for four 24-hour races.

2027 24-Hour Hire Kart Championship

Round 1 – Campillos, Spain
7th–9th May 2027

Round 2 – Le Mans, France
9th–11th July 2027

Round 3 – British 24 Hour, Teesside
6th–8th August 2027

Round 4 – Spa, Belgium
3rd–5th September 2027

For 2027, the Championship will be built around a maximum of 46 full-season Hire Kart Championship teams, creating a consistent grid travelling together from Spain to France, back home to Teesside and finally on to Belgium.

Every race matters.

Points scored at Campillos follow teams to Le Mans. Results in France matter when everyone arrives at Teesside. And by the time the Championship reaches Spa, an entire season of racing could come down to one final 24 hours.

Owner Drivers will also have their own 24-Hour Championship in 2027, beginning at Campillos, returning for the British 24 Hour at Teesside, and concluding with a dedicated Owner Driver 24-Hour event later in the year.

Start Planning Your 2027 Season

One of the biggest jobs for race teams is planning.

Dates need to go into diaries. Holidays need booking. Transport and accommodation need organising. Budgets need working out and race programmes need deciding.

That’s why we’re getting our major 2027 calendars online now.

Whether your plans involve a full season of sprint racing at Teesside, travelling the country with NBS, taking on your first six-hour endurance race or crossing Europe chasing a 24-Hour Championship, there are more opportunities than ever to get involved.

Over the coming weeks and months we’ll continue to release individual event information, regulations, entry details, testing opportunities and Championship updates.

And while some motorsport venues might be preparing for their winter break…

We’re just changing championships.
